Dentures
Dentures are removable devices used to replace missing teeth and adjacent structures. They can be partial dentures (replacing one to multiple teeth) or complete dentures (replacing all teeth in one arch). They are usually made of acrylic or a combination of acrylic and metal.
It usually required 4-5 appointments to complete the construction of a denture. We make sure you agree with every step of the process. Our maximum goal is your complete satisfaction.
Removable Partial Dentures
There are two main types of partial dentures: the conventional Acrylic – Metal Partial and the modern and esthetic Valplast Partial. If you have a question or would like to schedule a consult to determine which one is right for you, call us at (954) 972-7827
This is a conventional partial. The major framework and clasps are made of biocompatible metal. The teeth and gum substitutes are made of plastic and acrylic respectively. The clasps can be adjusted for a tighter fit, but they are unaesthetic and usually show in a smiling position.
Valplast Partials
They are made using a modern material called Valplast that is a flexible acrylic. Clasps are designed using the same pink material, making them a good alternative when esthetics are a concern.
Valplast provides people with an aesthetic, comfortable and affordable way of replacing missing teeth. Millions of people have already discovered the exceptional benefits that Valplast can bring to their appearance and confidence, making Valplast something to really smile about. Our office is happy to provide you with Valplast Partials, they are very comfortable and you have no wires showing, Dr. Garcia always wants the best for her patients and she believes Valplast is the best option in most of the cases.
Complete Dentures
They replace all missing teeth in one of the arches. Shape and shade of the new dentition can be selected to patient’s desires. They provide fullness and natural appearance to the face.
If retention is a concern it can be enhanced by placing a few implants in the bone and plastic attachments to the existing denture.
